This dude says he can double your money. How? By getting it from the Money Temple, of course!
The internet is full of scams, as anyone who’s tried to sell something on Facebook Marketplace can tell you. Usually, these scams are pretty boring — but sometimes, a scam will be so confusing, complex and interesting that it will almost make you want to fall for it just so you can figure out what the hell is going on.
Case in point: the Money Temple. What is it? I genuinely have no idea, but in videos of it, it appears to be some sort of shamanistic place of worship that incorporates Masonic, Satanic and Christian imagery alongside cash — lots and lots of cash.
Digging deeper into this provides, unfortunately, no answers. A Facebook account linked to the same phone number advertises that it can help with “Money,” “Lotto numbers,” “Traveling to abroad” and “Pocket no dry,” though I’d imagine the latter is a victim of a language barrier rather than a problem people in Ghana actually face.
Still, what is the Money Temple? Is it even a scam? There’s just so much mystery to be found here, and looking at videos from the place, it genuinely does feel like you’ve stumbled onto something Satanic. Why else would the audio of their videos mention being willing to “sacrifice your family”?
Anyway, if you need money, are interested in the winning lottery numbers, or if you’ve, uh, got a wet pocket, you know who to reach out to.
